Why Nawaya exists
At 19 I left my country. I grew up between Egypt and Tunisia and arrived in Germany with a degree nobody here knew and a language I did not speak.
What I missed in the years that followed was neither ambition nor information. It was one person who had already taken the step I was standing in front of. I asked whoever I could ask. Most of them meant well and knew the way only from the outside.
Sixteen years later Germany is home. I have worked in sales and leadership, I speak four languages, and I made every one of those decisions on my own, because there was nobody who had made them before me.
Nawaya exists so the next person does not have to do that alone.
