In Karim Hajji's own words
I finished school in Cairo and Tunis and earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2005. I started in research and development in the energy sector, then moved into international sales management between Germany and the MENA region, in construction equipment and in printing. Since 2009 I have been a patent examiner at the European Patent Office in Munich.
Rather than a straight line, I chose three deliberate changes of direction. Each one widened what I can do and prepared the next.
